I have found a RUNNING SHOE that does NOT use Thiuram!
Bless the Decker family of brands! Hoka One One does NOT use Thiuram!!
They make a stability shoe too which I have to have if I'm going to run outdoors (or in general besides a girly high heel run).
It has been like 6 years since I've been able to do this. I can't wait for the burning agony my lungs are going to experience to re-train them to go for jogs, and the endorphins I'm going to get with these shoes. Hallelujah!
These look GORGEOUS!
This is great news - I have the same allergy. How are your feet doing?
ReplyDeleteThey are great since I have been hunting for the right shoes. I really love these shoes. They are so comfortable. I joined the gym and have been working out. It's bee amazing.
DeleteThanks for the information shoegal, I have developed four contact allergies and thiuram is the worst, I appreciate you posting these helpful tidbits:)
ReplyDeleteIt is TERRIBLE. But once you get rid of all of your old socks and get a selection of non-contaminated shoes going, it does get manageable. Thee worst is when you are still in the cycle of cross-contaminating and you ruin a pair of expensive shoes by putting contaminated socks in them. Your feet itch, and you're out a perfectly good pair!
