Hi all!
Winter is coming up and I'm in shoe protective mode. I used the Ugg spray on my boots and anything I've bought that's suede or leather. It's also made by Deckers and I haven't had a problem with it. If I have leather shoes, usually I just rub coconut oil in them. It works great to keep the leather soft. But if you want them waterproof, then you probably need the ugg spray or this new one I found. It's called LIQUIPROOF (https://liquiproof.co.uk/). It works great! I put it on my canvas and linen ballet flats that I usually wear with bare feet and it's been amazing to keep them looking great (and without the allergy problem).
Hope that helps!

No joy!
I've been trying to find cross-country ski boots (nordic skiing). I emailed the 6 biggest companies. Only Saloman emailed me back, but they couldn't confirm it was safe. Good customer service though. So if you have friends without this allergy and they want customer service, I can recommend them for that! But it would be iffy to buy the ski boots with a Thiuram allergy :(
